Editor-In-Chief

It gives me immense pleasure to introduce Volume 6, Issue 1 of the Indraprastha Law Review (ILR). Since its inception, the ILR has served as a vital platform for legal scholarship that balances academic rigor with the demands and realities of the legal profession.

As we grapple through the intricacies of 2026, the legal profession stands at a historic juncture. The scope of jurisdiction is no longer limited by the boundaries of digital sovereignty, and our comprehension of justice is no longer limited by the frontiers of artificial intelligence, climate change, and economic globalization. It is in such unprecedented times that a law review is not just a collection of articles but a guiding light through uncharted normative landscapes.

At the University School of Law and Legal Studies (USLLS), our academic mandate has never been limited to the mechanical regurgitation of legal principles. Rather, we aim to produce “social engineers” who can harness the law as a flexible tool to achieve social equilibrium. And we can say that the latest edition of the ILR is a testament to that objective. The scholarship represented in the articles within these pages is not just a commentary on the law but an analysis and a critique of it. From the critical analysis of constitutional morality to the practical analysis of corporate law in a post-pandemic economy, the contributors to this volume have shown an enviable degree of depth and understanding.

I also hope that readers will find this issue intellectually stimulating and practically relevant. May these pages inspire readers to pursue further inquiry and a steadfast dedication to the rule of law.

I would like to extend my heartiest congratulations to the Editorial Board. Their tireless dedication and sincerity are the silent drivers of the prestige of this journal. Their commitment to high standards of academic integrity is a testament to their academic discipline.

Furthermore, I must express my gratitude to our authors and contributors. By choosing ILR as the vessel for your research, you have enriched our institutional legacy. Their labour has culminated into pages that will spark debates and fuel the spirit of legal enquiry. All these collaborative efforts have helped in bringing this issue to fruition.
